Lux Mundi are a Los Angeles-formed British-American drum & bass duo consisting of Mexican-American/British producer, songwriter and vocalist Derek de Lang and American drummer, producer and engineer Keith Larsen.

Formed in 2018, de Lang and Larsen originally came together through the Los Angeles alternative-rock scene after meeting through producer Doug Grean. Inspired by artists including Pendulum, LTJ Bukem and Chase & Status, they began combining their songwriting and live-band backgrounds with drum & bass, jungle, liquid and breakbeat influences.

Their early releases included the metal-tinged “Ignition” and vocal-led “Holding On” through DNBB Records, followed by their drum & bass interpretation of Radiohead’s “Pyramid Song,” “Almost There,” “ST4B,” and a remix of KiKi Holli’s “New High.” Their music has since received radio and DJ support across the UK, Europe and North America.

Lux Mundi are now developing their next body of work, Light Years, while expanding their international live presence. Their forthcoming single “BODY WAN” featuring legendary UK jungle duo Ragga Twins marks the next chapter of the project, combining vocal-led songwriting, melodic dancefloor energy and heavy bass with the intensity of a live band.
